Abnormally violent stellar activity triggered a devastating cataclysm. The entire continent suffered a devastating blow, leaving the surface uninhabitable. This event, known as the Age of Destruction, marked the beginning of a new era. Years later, a massive World Tree emerged from the center of the remaining continent. The tree released energy, forming floating islands upon which numerous mutated species thrived.
